been in and out of hte hospital. Cecilie has spent half of her life hospitalized at The Children's Cancer Centre where Stine and Carsten in turn have taken care of her. As a single mother Stine fights against her fear of losing her cildand tries to stay afloat in an unbearable chaos, while she insits on creating an almost normal life for all three of the children. For two years the film follows the family's life closely while Cecilie receives a bone marrow transplant that can ultimately save her life.
